From worlds apart with so less in common, we were brought together by destiny and we soon discovered how we have so much in common even with our different religious and cultural backgrounds! From worlds apart with so less in common, we were brought together by destiny and we soon discovered how we have so much in common even with our different religious and cultural backgrounds! How we met:

We were introduced through a mutual friend of ours, Jana, at a Halloween costume party at Fernando’s apartment. Aditi walked into the door, masquerading in warrior princess Xena’s costume and smiled as she saw the boyish charm of her Mexican cowboy suitor as he raised his eyes from under his sombrero and fixed them on her! Love at first sight? Not really! We talked and spent good time together the whole weekend, walking in the witch city of Salem and enjoying the vibrant life and colors of Fall in Boston.
And that started the onslaught of Chinatown bus rides, between Boston and NY, to meet each other every weekend for the next 1 year.
There was a special chemistry from the beginning as we discovered how we enjoy each other’s company so much. Endless conversations, traveling and doing lots of outdoor sports together made us closer and fall and rise in love in a matter of few months!
